All the photographs in this gallery were taken during two trips to the Swap Shop Flea Market in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a Sony CyberShot 14.1 megapixel rangefinder digital camera with a Cal Zeiss lens. It is about the size of a pack or cigarettes. It has no controls, other than offering a photographer the choice of shooting a 15 minute of digital movie, a panoramic single180-degree image or images in standard camera mode. The panoramic images are made in the camera by using a computer inside the CyberShot to shoot and "stitch together" up to 100 images into one seamless panoramic picture.
The focus of this gallery is to tell, in photographs, the story of how vast and varied the images at this sprawling flea market can be.
